THE SENIOR EXPERIENCE
Senior pictures don't have to mean awkward poses, fake smiles, and trying to figure out what to do with your hands. We'll plan a session around who you actually are-your style, your personality, the places you love, and whatever you're into right now. I'll help with locations, outfits, and direction in front of the camera, so you can stop worrying about how you're supposed to look and actually have fun with it.

Your senior session doesn't have to look like anyone else's. Want to wander through the mountains in your favorite dress? Bring your horse? Take over a downtown street? Show up with your motorcycle, your guitar, your dog, or the car you've spent way too much time working on? Let's do it.
We'll choose locations, outfits, and ideas around you- not around a list of poses I repeat at every session. I'll help you pull the vision together and give you plenty of direction once we're shooting, while leaving room for your personality to come through.
FORGET WHAT SENIOR PICTURES ARE "SUPPOSED" TO LOOK LIKE
Here’s the thing: most people don’t know what they’re doing in front of a camera. You’re not supposed to show up knowing how to pose, what to do with your hands, or how to magically look natural the second a camera comes out. That part is my job.
I’ll direct you throughout your session- where to stand, what to do, when to move, and all the little things that make a photo work without making you feel overly posed.
And you don’t have to perform a personality that isn’t yours, either. Not super smiley? We don’t need to fake it. A little more quiet, edgy, playful, dramatic, weird, or completely your own thing? That’s what I want to photograph.
The goal isn’t to make you look like someone who knows how to model.
It’s to make the photos feel like you- AND look ridiculously good!

Get dressed up and take over the city. Wander through your favorite bookstore. Book a studio for a clean or funky background. Bring your car, your guitar, your horse, or your dog. Run through a field at sunset, head somewhere that feels completely unexpected, or turn an ordinary parking garage into something straight out of a movie.

Then you get to see yourself the way I saw you. Your final images will be professionally edited and delivered in an online gallery where you can download, share, and keep them. This process take 2-3 weeks.

We’ll have two hours to create, change things up, chase the light, and build a session with plenty of variety. But what makes this experience different is that we won’t only photograph who you are right now- we’ll capture a little bit of your story, too.
Alongside your photos, I’ll capture cinematic video throughout your session and record pieces of your own voice talking about life right now, what you're dreaming about, and where you hope you're headed.
Those moments will be woven together into your own Time Capsule Film- something you can watch years from now and remember not only what you looked like at seventeen or eighteen, but who you were becoming.

Want a little bit of everything? This is where we have room to really play.
With twice the session time, we can change outfits, explore more than one setting, and create completely different looks within the same shoot. Start dressed up at the Capitol and finish downtown after dark. Bring the horse and still have time for something completely different. Go from soft and romantic to edgy and editorial.
We’ll plan the session around you and use the extra time to create a gallery that feels less like one photoshoot- and more like different sides of who you are.

Your final images will be professionally edited and delivered through a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints if you'd like.
Your gallery will be delivered within [2-3 weeks] of your session. You’ll also receive a sneak peek usually within the first 48 hours after the session.
Absolutely. If having someone you love there will help you relax and have more fun, bring them along.
Just remember: this session is about you. I want you feeling comfortable enough to be yourself without worrying about what anyone else thinks.
Utah weather likes to keep us on our toes. A little wind, cloud cover, or even a few raindrops doesn’t automatically mean we need to cancel- in fact, some of my favorite photos happen when the weather gets a little interesting.
If conditions genuinely aren't safe or would keep us from creating the session we planned, we'll figure out the best option for rescheduling.
We’ll choose your location together based on the kind of photos you want to create. Mountains, downtown streets, a bookstore, open fields, somewhere connected to a hobby- or something completely different.
You don’t need to come to me knowing exactly where you want to shoot. Tell me what you’re drawn to, and I’ll help you find a location that fits your vision.
Wear something that feels like you. Depending on your session, you may have room for more than one look, so we can mix things up- dressy and casual, soft and edgy, classic and completely unexpected. Keep in mind the vibe you are going for. Also, make sure you wear something that you feel confident in. It will shine through in your photos.
Once you book, I’ll help you think through outfits that photograph well, work with our locations, and fit the overall vibe we’re creating. And if you're stuck between options, send them my way!
The earlier, the better! Senior sessions are especially popular in late summer and fall, and my availability can fill quickly during those months. I recommend reaching out at least 4–6 weeks before you’d like to shoot so we have plenty of time to plan your location, outfits, and overall vision.
That said, if you’re working with a shorter timeline, reach out anyway. If I have an opening, we’ll make it happen.
