But I'm not interested in giving everyone the exact same experience. Your session should feel like you. I'll tailor the experience around your personalities, your comfort level, your vision, and what you want your photographs to feel like.
Some of my favorite images happen when you forget I'm there. Others happen because I knew exactly how to direct the moment. We'll make room for both.

I'm a Utah photographer, creative at heart, and probably a little too excited when the light gets good. What I love most about photography isn't creating something perfectly polished- it's finding the version of you that already exists and figuring out how to bring that to life in a photograph.
I'm way more interested in getting to know you than running through the same poses I use with everyone else. I want to notice the little things: how you naturally move, the way you laugh, how you interact with the people you love, and what makes you feel most like yourself.
Don't worry, I'm not going to leave you standing in front of my camera wondering what the hell you're supposed to do with your hands. I'll give you plenty of direction when you need it. I just don't want to direct the personality out of you in the process.
At the end of the day, I don't want your photographs to look like everyone else's.
